Face Reality As It Is: Anamorphic Typography by Thomas Quinn
When viewed head on, what at first looks like typography on top of a simple photograph reveals itself to be well-executed anamorphic typography by Chicago designer Thomas Quinn. The illusion is created using a standard light projector that projects the intended design on an uneven surface which is then carefully painted. From every other angle the work looks skewed and almost illegible, but when you stand at just the right spot everything seems to pop into place.

Fittingly dubbed Guitar2-D2, the body of the guitar is designed to replicate the iconic robot, right down to the silhouette.

Bandit9 is a motorcycle design company based in Beijing, they design unique, custom built motorcycles. The latest stunner to roll out of their studio is a bike dubbed “Nero”. It is a revamp of a Custom Chang Jiang 750, and was designed by Daryl Villanueva. He was inspired by the Giger creature from the movie “Alien”. The bike is made mostly from custom Bandit9 parts, standout features have to be the unusual flat lines of the bike and the awesome matte black paint job.
